Loida is the Community Manager for WZP 107.9. She believes in building strong communities with compelling stories that garner long-lasting relationships. Her deep-rooted desire to improve people’s lives can be shown across the various opportunities she has completed throughout her career.
With over 5 years of experience working with Indie brands spanning different industries, Loida aims to deliver a well-crafted narrative that authentically communicates WJZP 107.9’s story in a relatable, impressionable, and authentic way.
She holds a B.S. in Public Affairs with a minor in Psychology from the Austin W. Marxe School of Public & International Affairs from Baruch College. When she's not working on a creative project, you’ll find her exploring the local food scene, tea shop, or book store.
Earth Saylove is an Emcee, DJ, Producer, and the Author of Hip Hop and the Art of Peace Education. Her performances include The 5% Nation’s Show and Prove in Harlem and the Indigenous People’s Movement Benefit Concert in D.C. Her creative process entails sampling, songwriting, storytelling, and her own unique melodies. On-Air, Saylove provides sophisticated mixes, and music interviews. An International Artist of Nicaragua, her artistic community is rooted in The Universal Zulu Nation. With an education in Peace Education and Human Rights, since 2010; Saylove has volunteered and worked to recover missing and exploited girls, assisted a sister-friend in reducing her life sentence, all while remaining active within (the academic collective) HipHopEd. JAZZY PEOPLES is the radio program produced by earthsaylove. Jazzy Peoples airs on WJZP 107.9 FM to half a million residents and streams online to an international audience.
